30 Days in England: Day 13 (Bodleian Library)

Today starts a few posts of Oxford! 🙂

Ah, the Bodleian Library! I went for a tour inside, unfortunately it was a “no camera” zone! 😦 So you’ll have to be content with outside pictures.  If you ever have the opportunity to go, make sure you go inside…it’s SO worth it! I can’t really describe my emotions…knowing people like C.S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien came here to study together.

Walking the streets that John Wesley and William Pitt walked.  The list of “famous people who studied in Oxford” is….super long (yes, I did Google it!) It was almost surreal to be there…knowing so many of tread there before I.

The next few days on my blog will dedicated to Oxford, be sure and come back! 🙂

Always, Aims

  1. What beautiful architecture, there is a small town several miles from me called Oxford, but no wonderful libraries like this one. Only England could do something like this! Really enjoy your website!
